PHOENICIA. Arados. Circa 138/7-44/3 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 14.92 g, 11 h), CY 173 = 87/6 BC. Turreted, veiled and draped bust of Tyche to right. Rev. APAΔIΩN Nike standing front, head to left, holding aphlaston in her right hand and palm frond over her left shoulder; to left, ΓΟΡ above 𐤁 above ΜΣ; all within laurel wreath. BMC 231. Duyrat 3461-93. HGC 10, 72. Some horn silver with minor traces of corrosion and light cleaning scratches on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
